Dr. Herath, the founder and CEO of Smartyroos Pty Ltd, brings over 20 years of teaching experience and a passion for empowering students to achieve academic success. With a Master of Secondary Teaching (Mathematics and Science), a PhD, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (First Class Honours), he combines academic excellence with practical expertise. Having served as a lecturer at Deakin University and Federation University, as well as a tutor at the University of New England and the University of Southern Queensland, he has guided countless students to excel. As a fully registered teacher in Victoria currently teaching in a secondary school, he is deeply familiar with the Victorian curriculum. Alongside private tutoring, Dr. Herath’s extensive experience in mathematics and science education forms the foundation of Smartyroos.
